# About

Hi! I'm Charlie, I'm thirteen, and this website started as my version of a "Summer camp", though the Summer of 2023 quickly went by. Now, it's my blog and a place that can hold me accountable for taking notes and documenting my processes. It's also a place where I can publish my independent research in a way.

I share and open source my recipes, processes, and information here with the hopes that everyone can learn about the technologies of the future.

**Note: The carbon capture project has been deprecated, but you're still welcome to look around it. If you want to explore, I suggest exploring the Bioplastic page. Read the page "Was This Project a Success?" to learn more about why the carbon capture project is over.**\
\
I should note that I do get limited funding from my parents to do my projects (over the Summer, that is), so shout out to them. However, I am the only one actively doing R and D and documenting my findings.

If you want to contact me, that would be awesome. Here's how to reach out to me:

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://nicholsonlabs.gitbook.io/labs/about.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
