Carrageenan Ca01 (Solid, without Plasticizer)

Ingredients:
Water (1/2 cup, ~118 ml).
Kappa carrageenan powder (1 TBSP, 10.5 grams).
Procedure:
Heat up water to about 75 C.
Sprinkle the carrageenan powder slowly into the pot of water, so as to not let the carrageenan clump.
Mix thoroughly.
Take off the heat and put it into a mold after about 10 minutes of stirring or after the gel is very thick and well-mixed.
Let dry for a few days.
Done!
Properties:
Before drying: like a thick jello or rubber.
After drying: hard little pellets on the outside (like a casing) and moist on the inside.
Notes:
You have to use kappa carrageenan.
